BSR Accredited Stunt Course
February 27, 2023 - March 1, 2023
Each course will be three days. The minimum requirement for a complete beginner to be able to take the test is three courses (9 days).
Day one.
We have taken the time to strip back what is needed and what is crucial, with this in mind the skills will be broken into thirds and all will be covered over the duration of the three three day course. It is important to remember that the retention of knowledge is the goal.
Each student will receive a skills pack upon booking that will list what they will learn on the course. The order in which they learn the skills will differ from day to day based on weather, student skill levels and progression etc.
Day two and three will run in the same order, but the course will always be organic with the goal of knowledge retention being the main focus. ie. we might spend longer on one skill than we had intended, if it is deemed necessary.
The final day of the third three day course will be a chance for the student to practice any discipline they find needs more work and attention. There will always be a few common denominators and we can break into groups to address.
8:30am breakfast roll or equivalent for dietary requirements.
9:00am Classroom briefing and instructor introduction. On day one we will talk about how the course will run. How each technique will be broken down and what is expected of the student. In this briefing the student will learn the building blocks of precision driving and we will discuss in detail, each of the disciplines. Safety will be a key theme throughout the whole course.
10:00am students broken into teams with allocated instructors. Each student will be allocated a car and a radio, the students will be responsible for theses for the duration of the course. The student will be taught how and what to check in terms of car safety and maintenance, it will then be left to the student to check on the subsequent days.
Car safety and compliance will be discussed in detail and in the final exam will be checked and tested.
10:30am Driving activities commence.
10:30am – 12:00pm we may go back and forth to the classroom, this will be organic and student dependent on the frequency of how many class room trips are needed.
12:00pm Lunch will be pre booked and provided. 12:30pm During lunch we will brief on the second half of the day.
1:00pm Driving activities resume until end of day 4-6pm light dependant. Frequent class room visits will be attended and again will be organic and student dependant.
4:00-6:00pm Day finish with a classroom recap and time for students to take notes of the skills learned.
Students depart escorted to base exit by a team member.
Mock exam days
We will put on mock exams as frequently as is needed for the students before they test.
Students will not be given the final exam details, but will be tested in similar ways.
